Rob & Mol's GT3 RS Weissach Pack/ GR Yaris

COFFEE CLUB No. 2

Onward from the classic Cortina, we move to something a little more modern… and blisteringly fast!
Next up, we have Rob and Molly with their GT3 RS Weissach Pack & Toyota GR Yaris.
Preferred brew method: French Press
Rob & Molly welcomed us, a freshly ground bag of Giulietta (our delicious Italian dark roast!), the photography wizard @jamie, and the gleaming Morgan into their garage with open arms. These guys are serious petrol heads – and operate in the upper echelons of the motorsport world. Fresh off the track at Donington for the SCD secret meet (tag this), Molly and Rob were intrigued to find out about our coffee – and our plans to start a new movement amongst those who call themselves petrol heads.
Rob and Molly have been with Porsche for a number of years, owning over 6 GT cars and showing no signs of slowing down when it comes to adding to their collection. We asked them where they may take their passion next, and without hesitation, the answer from both was ‘Porsche’.
We at Carburettor see this petrol-powered couple as the Toto & Susie Wolf of Herefordshire. These guys relish in driving their very own supercar both to and from events. They travel the world enjoying all things motorsport, and there is a strong competitive nature between these love birds. Molly, the smiling assassin, beamed as Rob recounted a recent M2 track driving experience in which their times were ‘worryingly close’... Good luck to you Rob!
You won't see many motors like this as it's 1 of only 80 with this spec. As you can see, it’s no surprise the GT3 RS is hard to pin down, when it’s a piece of machinery that looks as good as it does and will see you to 60 mph in under 3 seconds.
You might have noticed the little white car holding its own next to the 911… the Toyota GR Yaris has taken the world by storm since its release (much like the GT3 RS, good luck getting your hands on one!). This is Rob & Molly’s second GR Yaris, and is used as their daily… along with the Hilux you may spot in the background! And can you believe, Rob’s asked us to mention it’s still on its original breaks and clutch after all these years. He did quietly slip in with a wink that it’s been chipped.
We’ve loved our visits so far. The people we visit for our Carburettor Coffee Club have some fantastic stories.
